Tunnel 2 Towers

KCPA Taxes is pleased to announce that at least 10% of fees collected for the preparation of 2023 tax returns will be donated to Tunnel 2 Towers.  

 

Tunnel to Towers is a nonprofit organization founded in honor of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter who died on September 11, 2001, during the World Trade Center attacks. The foundation's mission is to support first responders, military veterans, and their families by providing mortgage-free homes to the families of fallen heroes, building smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans, and supporting other initiatives that benefit those who have sacrificed for their country and communities.

The name "Tunnel to Towers" refers to Siller's heroic journey on 9/11 when, after hearing about the attacks, he ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel with his firefighting gear to reach the Twin Towers, where he ultimately gave his life in service.
